I walked past this deer within about 10 feet of the trail without it being disturbed enough to get up. A mentioned it to a lady who had walked up shortly before me and we watched it and took pictures for a couple of minutes before it got up and slowly walked off. I saw a deer later in the day in a different location that may have been this deer. This was just below picnic rock.
